Blooming trees like blushing brides
Marrying the wind,
Veiled in nuptial marches,
Along the dusty alleys
Of our memories alone,
Raised in perfumed columns
Of spring...
We sit by the blue river banks
Like the hands of a lost clock,
Still beating,
Still marching in the same direction,
Still rising in columns of silk...
My words become flowers,
Stretching like a floating bridge
In the fragrant air,
Your silence is the rooted tree
Thirsty for a far hemisphere,
Where eternity blooms
Like a blushing bride,
Gently walking in perpetual spring,
Softly breathing a new air.

Museum
I see the silhouette
Of a lonely cathedral,
Fading away
In the mists of the rainy
Wildflower days
Of a faraway mountain town
In the Rockies...

I hear the wind passing by,
Distant,
With colorless eyes,
Heavy with clouds,
Soaring the open skies,
Like a king
Without a castle,
Like a night
Without stars...
They walked arm in arm by the Art Museum today, just the usual route. Laughing under their bright yellow umbrella. "Look! A few new paintings", she said and smiled...
As the rain kept pouring down,
Twisting and tapping,
Turning back time.

December Night

Angels are falling tonight,
Swaying, rushing, dancing
Underneath the open sky,
Immaculate wings embrace
The frozen land
With crystal stars burning,
Like candles in the middle of the night...
She sits by the window
In the shape of her time,
Her heart holds the fire,
Her eyes brighten the dark,
Thoughts fly into words,
Words dance with the angels,
Swaying, rushing, falling,
Softly resting in his dreams
Tonight.

Embroidery
On the blue open sky,
Air webbed with people,
Breathed within the man
Created from dust,
Then molded, so skillfully,
Into dreams with profound wings,
Stretched all the way to the stars,
Weaving underneath the moon
A rainbow of night,
Ruffled by mornings of light.
I cover my mind with your soul,
Like the sky thirsts for its clouds,
For sunshine and wind,
For the immaculate snow in the spring,
I fall gently underneath the clouds
With wings of evening rain,
I melt into song,
I hide in the wind…
Pouring, pouring down,
Closer and closer
To the dust of the earth,
Underneath the stars,
Brightened by the primordial word,
Suddenly I come.

Dantela
Dantela de pasari
Pe cerul de-azur,Aer impanzit de oameni,
Respirat inauntrul fiintei create din lut,
Modelat apoi, cu destoinicie,
In visuri cu aripi intinse profund
Pana la stele,
Brodand sub luna
Curcubee de noapte,
Ravasite-n dimineti de lumina.
Ma acopar cu sufletul tau,
De soare si vant,
De imaculatele-i ninsori,
Cu ploile serii ma revars sub nori,
Ma topesc in cantec,
Ma ascund in vant…
Curgand, curgand, Tot mai jos,
Tot mai mult spre pamant,
Sub stelele aprinse-n primordialul cuvant.

To Eminescu
Golden evening star, pierced by light,
Your eyes contemplate the waves,
You build bridges hidden in word
For us to cross,
Your boats sail the deep waters of time,
You surround us with your peaceful mantle,
Lost in the pure love
For the one with hair of light and eyes of wonder,
You call us from the forests of bronze,
With treetops clearing
The misty evenings,
You bring us closer,
Near the midnight springs,
Of stories told
And darkness chased away.
You are word
And guiding mantle,
On eternity’s sea
You rise and set
In celestial spheres.

Lui Eminescu
Luceafar de aur, patruns de lumina
Sper valuri privesti
Punti ascunse in cuvant ne zidesti,
Corabii scaldate in ape adanci…
Ne-invalui cu mantia-ti lina,
Pierduta-n iubirea cea pura,
Cu parul balai si ochii blanzi…
Ne chemi din codrii de arama,
Cu varfuri limpezind tainice seri,
Langa izvoarele ce-n toiul noptii
Povesti aduc si neguri risipesc…
Cantec ne esti
Si mantie stapana,
Pe-a vesniciei mari
Rasari si-apui
In sferele ceresti.
