Journey

I caught a star
And let it go,
Under the silver gaze
Of a silent moon,
That night of early summer.

I learned to soar
From cloud to cloud,
Beyond the sunset
And the dawn,
A lonely sparrow
With wings of dreams,
Yet awaiting no tomorrows.

I sailed away
On open seas,
Where storms can rest
And gather strength,
Beyond the untouched blue.

Where magic waves retrace the sky,
And stars abound,
Like fireflies on summer nights,
With every sunset and every dawn,
You draw me close to you...
